3. Check breathing:
 | | Check pulse in brachial (inside upper arm) artery |
| | |
 | | Begin compressions: 100 per minute -Hard & |
| | fast with very little interruption (with 2 fingers just below nipple line in center of chest)

 | | Push down 1/3 to 1/2 of the depth of victim's |
| | chest with recoil
|
 | | 5 cycles 30 compressions:2 breaths then reassess |
| | breath
|
 | | 2-man do 15:2, changing roles every 2 minutes/5 |
| | cycles, 2nd rescuer encircle hands around chest utilizing thumbs
|
7. Dial 911 after 2 min. or completion of 30:2 x 5
cycles & Activate your emergency action plan
 | | HTCL: Head Tilt Chin Lift or
|
 | | Jaw thrust with no head extension if |
| | injured
|
 | | Look, listen, feel for breath 5-10 sec.
|
 | | Seal mouth & nose with your mouth
|
 | | Give 2 breaths (Enough to get chest rise)
|
 | | Readjust airway if needed & reattempt |

6. No pulse, no breath: Full CPR
