CPR Classes

Unlike what we see on TV and in movies, saving lives is rarely glamorous.

Rather, it can be messy, violent and upsetting.

But there is beauty in real people helping real people.

After all, the one thing nearly everybody wishes for, is for more time with family and friends. By earning and maintaining your CPR certification you become a hero - a hero who may be able to give someone more time among their friends and family.

Our favorite CPR hero story occurred a few years ago: Our dear friend Christine, a seemingly healthy mother of five, experienced sudden cardiac arrest at home while exercising on her treadmill. Her oldest son, Brian, only 15 years old at the time, had learned CPR with his Boy Scouts troop just two days earlier. Brian was in the same room as his mother when she collapsed, and he used his brand-new training to perform CPR on his mother until first responders arrived.

Thanks to Brian’s training, quick actions and excellent medical care received, Christine survived her experience with cardiac arrest, and with the help of a pacemaker, she continues to enjoy her active life with five children.

Brian went on to earn his Eagle Scout award. His signature service project was placing a dozen Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) in prominent places around town, including hiking/walking trails, so that help may be available to anyone experiencing cardiac arrest. Brian is a true CPR hero.

For the past 21 years, CardioCare has been providing CPR training and certification for heroes in Melbourne and across Florida. Our CPR, BLS, ACLS and PALS courses are available in Melbourne and many other cities in Florida, or online with our AHA HeartCode blended learning platform or ASHI blended CPR courses.

We love what we do, and we thank you for choosing us to train and certify you in CPR, BLS, ACLS and PALS.
