CPR Classes for Assisted Living Facility Staff
Have at least five employees needing a class?
OR - skip the full class and have your staff test-out in half the time.
We are approved vendors with Brookdale and many others.
Keeping your Assisted Living Facility staff certified in CPR is easy when you work with CardioCare CPR Training and Certification. We work with independent and corporate ALFs around Florida, providing a consistent, concise training class that generates many compliments.
Our standard practice is to bring enough mannequins so that everyone in attendance has their own. This helps the class go faster, and allows each student additional uninterrupted practice time on the critical life saving skills that we practice, specifically opening blocked airways of choking victims, and performing CPR on elderly adults.
Our hands-on demonstration of our Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) will instill confidence in your staff, and have them feeling able to help out in a cardiac arrest situation. Additionally, we always perform a readiness check on the AED in your facility, to make sure the batteries and pads are within their usable dates. As national distributors for all the makes and models of AEDs, we can pass through additional savings on new AEDs, pads, batteries or any other AED-related accessories you may want for your location.
If you have a group of at least five, we will come to your facility to teach your group. Or, you can choose to come to our classroom at the Melbourne Square Mall.
OR - skip the full-length class and have your staff test-out in half the time. Read about our new BLS Test-out option.
We can teach either the American Heart Association (AHA) version of CPR BLS, or the American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) version. The AHA version is more in-depth and takes up to three hours to complete, including the written test. The ASHI version is shorter. Contact us to discuss which certification is best for your facility.
Call or text us at 321-749-9945, or fill out this form to schedule your group's instruction in CPR BLS.
*CPR BLS course completion certificates are issued by either The American Heart Association (AHA) or The American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI), both of which are accepted by CAPCE and AHCA.
